Year 3 were lucky enough to be offered a day of water fun and learning. We started our day at Moruya pool where we showed our skills swimming a few laps then participated in some water awareness activities. We trod water, touched our bellies on the bottom of the pool and practiced moving safely through the water. We then headed to the beach where we learnt what different beach signs mean and how to identify a rip. The lifeguards even put the green dye in the water so we could see it! We then got to paddle out and catch some waves. It was a beautiful day and we all had a wonderful time. I hope Year 3 went home as exhausted as myself and the other teachers did. Special thank you to Jade's mum, Lachlan Plenty's mum, Scarlett and Jesse's grandparents and Tim's dad for volunteering to help us on the day. Our class ran assembly last week and we were awesome! We even displayed some of the sign language we have been learning.
We have had a great time learning all kinds of percussion with Greg. He is a wonderful, fun teacher that we have learnt lots from. |
